Discussion of showing at American Craft Council shows, and working both as a goldsmith and at a foundry.  Demonstration of patinas on bronze.

2006: Gary Whitaker visiting artist workshop

Discussion of wax carving, stone setting, and setting up a business.  Demonstration of flush setting a round stone.

2005: Komelia Okim visiting artist workshop

Discussion of her work and techniques.  Demonstration of Keum-Bo technique.

2005: Art in Italy

Studied bookmaking and watercolor. Experienced cultures in Florence, Siena, Tuscan hill towns, Rome, Bologna, Venice, and Milan.

2005: David Freda visiting artist workshop

Discussion of working with Tiffany, and process of hollow casting.  Demonstration of hollow casting techniques.

2005: Boris Bally visiting artist workshop

Discussion of marketing and idea development.  Worked with found objects to create jewelry.

Sales floor clerk and cashier. Learned how to maintain a presentable sales floor. Worked with cash, check and credit card transactions with very few cash drawer variances. Practiced customer service both on the floor and at registers. Set up end caps and merchandise features.
